Low men who live by labour of their handsIn virtuous patience and good cheer of heart,
May simply apprehend immortal things;
So doth the flower of rich poetic souls.
But middle minds, presumptuous and confused
With false half-truth and ignorant knowingness,
Will turn away from every highest thought.
