FOR THE SILVER WEDDING OF MR. AND MRS. J. C. DERBY.
Some five and twenty years ago—
Ah! time of youth and rapture!—
Our host was a bewitching beau
The girls all tried to capture.
Ah! time of youth and rapture!—
Our host was a bewitching beau
The girls all tried to capture.
Our hostess 't was who won the field,
And honor, then, to her be;
She justly takes the prize we yield
Because she won the Derby.
And honor, then, to her be;
She justly takes the prize we yield
Because she won the Derby.
