PROMOTIONS
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following promotions be and they are hereby made:
- Mr. W. Walker Cowen, Lecturer, to Associate Professor of English, for five years, effective 1 July 1969, at a session salary of $[OMITTED], plus 20 percent for summer work, or a total salary of $[OMITTED].
- Dr. William H. Grev, Clinical Instructor, to Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, for three years, effective 1 September 1969.
- Dr. Hobart G. Hansen, Clinical Instructor, to Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, for three years, effective 1 September 1969.
- Mr. Alexander B. Horniman, Assistant Professor, to Associate Professor of Business Administration, effective 1 September 1969, at a session salary of $[OMITTED].
- Mr. Carl R. Showalter, Clinical Instructor, to Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, for three years, effective 1 September 1969.
- Dr. Albert P. Spaar, Clinical Instructor, to Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, for three years, effective 1 September 1969.
- Dr. A. Nelson Yarbrough, Instructor, to Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and of Surgery, for one year, effective 1 July 1969, at an annual salary of $[OMITTED].
