[You build, my friend, in honour of your time]
You build, my friend, in honour of your time,Italian structures in an English clime;
The finish'd pile forbidding to be shown,
While high-raised bricks immure the polish'd stone.
Thus architecture rises worthy thee,—
For none to' inhabit, and for none to see!
