FAB. LVII. The Cat and Cock.

The Catt does on the Cock with fury fly,
And many reasons urg'd that he must dy,
The Cock denys the fact, in vaine thou pleadst,
Replyd the Catt, for right or wrong thou bleedst.

Morall

So a luxurious power Oft makes its will,
The only cause of an oppression still.
