Psal. CXIII.
The Lord O ye His servants praise,
To His great Name your ditties raise,
Which blest and sacred be alwaies:
Ev'n from the rising of the Sun,
Till to the West his course be run,
Nis Name is to be prais'd alone.
The Lord above all Nations high,
Is seated in great Majesty,
And in the Heav'ns His glories ly.
What pow'r created parallells
The Lord our God who thus excells,
And far above the Heaven dwells?
To His great Name your ditties raise,
Which blest and sacred be alwaies:
Ev'n from the rising of the Sun,
Till to the West his course be run,
Nis Name is to be prais'd alone.
The Lord above all Nations high,
Is seated in great Majesty,
And in the Heav'ns His glories ly.
What pow'r created parallells
The Lord our God who thus excells,
And far above the Heaven dwells?
218
Who humbling downe himselfe doth bow,
Not only things in heaven to know,
But what is done in earth below.
To him that did in dust deplore,
He joyfull comforts doth restore;
And from the dunghill lifts the poore:
That set with Princes of the earth,
And persons of a Royall birth,
His sorrows may be chang'd to mirth
The barren woman, when implor'd
His bounty hath with children stor'd:
O therefore praise this gratious Lord.
Not only things in heaven to know,
But what is done in earth below.
To him that did in dust deplore,
He joyfull comforts doth restore;
And from the dunghill lifts the poore:
That set with Princes of the earth,
And persons of a Royall birth,
His sorrows may be chang'd to mirth
The barren woman, when implor'd
His bounty hath with children stor'd:
O therefore praise this gratious Lord.
