Since I have given Thee all my very Heart

Since I have given thee all my very heart,
Since I have staked so deep and dangerously
All that I have of hope till breath depart,
And flung my little kingdom on a die;
Since now there streams over my land and sea
This dread Love—strange as light—beyond recall,
I am thy prisoner; yes, and thou art free
With but a touch to lay in ruin all.
