HYMN 95.Psal. 119. 8, 9, 10, 11.

[Thy Covenants are very deep]

Thy Covenants are very deep,
And full of things profound;
My Soul therefore thy Word will keep
When they are try'd and found.
When Men enter into thy VVord,
They find a Light most clear;
Tho' Fools, yet they, Lord, shall not err
VVhen they to it adhere.
The VVord of God most perfect is,
His Testimony sure;
Converting Souls, and making wise
The simple and obscure.
The Statutes of the Lord are right,
And fill the heart with joys;
The Precepts of the Lord are pure,
Enlightning the Eyes.
The Fear of God is clean also,
And doth endure for ever;
The Judgments of the Lord are true,
And righteous altogether.

Yea, more than Gold, than much fine Gold
To be embrac'd alway;
The Honey and the Honey-comb
Are not so sweet as they:
They are thy Servants Monitors,
How he his life should frame,
And great Rewards is there for them
VVho do observe the same.
