'Tis thou, O God, that must prepareour Hearts, we therefore cry,

O purge Iniquity!
2
That we may hear and sing to Thee;so as with thee to meet;
And find thy Word and Ordinance
to us exceeding sweet.
3
That so we may in thee rejoyce,and thy great Name adore;
And filled be with inward Peace,
and Praise thee evermore.
4
With Faith and Holy Diligence,let us attend thy Word;
That cause we may have still to sing
unto our blessed Lord.
