TRANSLATION FROM OVID,

Metam. Book I.

At his command, the lawns their bosoms spread,
The woods were clothed, and the vallies fed,
The swelling hills to cloud-capp'd mountains rise,
Seas kiss their shores, and stars salute the skies!
