Billed as a "come together community picnic," the University Union sponsored a happening on the Lawn yesterday afternoon. The Union provided various eating and entertaining implements, along with apples and lemonade, and expected people to bring some dishes to be shared by those partaking of the fun. Unfortunately, poor weather combined with other circumstances dealt a death-blow to the affair — few people showed up.
