Five men from
Southampton Correctional
Farm and four women from
Women's State Farm in
Goochland will participate in a
program of personal
testimonials on Friday at 3:30
p.m. in the Walker auditorium.
After Mr. Tydings' evening
address, a prison inmate finale
will be provided by the "Soul
Tones Review."

Mr. Tydings served in the
Senate from 1965 through
1971. He was a member of the
Senate Judiciary Committee
and acted as Chairman of the
Judiciary Subcommittee on
Improvements in Judicial
Machinery. During his term,
Mr. Tydings gained nationwide
recognition for his strong
stance on the gun-control issue.
