The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the following persons be and they are hereby re-elected to the faculty:
- Mr. Antharvedi Anne as Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, effective 1 September 1970.
- Mr. Conrad M. Arensberg as Visiting Professor of Anthropology, for one semester, effective 1 February 1971.
- Mr. Richard H. Austin as Assistant Professor and Director, Science Technology Information Center, for three years, effective 1 July 1970.
- Mr. Curtis M. Brooks as Acting Assistant Professor of Humanities, for one year, effective 1 September 1970.
- Mr. Gerald Cook as Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering, effective 1 September 1970.
- Mr. S. Herbert Frankel as Visiting Professor of Economics, for one semester, effective 1 February 1971.
