Sec. 18-99. Steering gear.[236]
Every motor vehicle being operated upon a street shall be
equipped with steering gear adequate to insure the safe control of
the vehicle which shall not show signs of weakness or breaking
under ordinary conditions. (Code 1959, § 18-99.)
