[Vulcane bygat me; Mynerua me taught]
Vulcane bygat me; Mynerua me taught;Nature my mother craft norischt me yere by yere;
Thre bodyes ar my fode; my strength is in naught;
Angre, wrath, wast, and noyse, are my children dere.
Gesse, frend, what I ame and how I ame wrought:
Monstre of see or of lande or of els where?
Know me and use me and I may the defende,
And if I be thine enmye I may thy life ende.
