Now sitteth Jeshúa
Among those Twelve; around the sacred dish.
They, át His bídding, which áll shall eat thereof,
With Him; stretch right hands forth, devout, with His.
And óf One Cup of Blessing, sith all drink.
Thence risen, and having sung the accustomed psalm;
He breathed on them and spake: Receive the Spirit.
And fúrthermore, He delivered to them hath;
Those living words, from the Heavens, to men sent down;
And last commandments óf His lips divine:
Which, tó Worlds latest ages, shall resound;
In human hearts.
