JUSTIN MARTYR (100-165):

CHRISTIAN CONVERT from PAGANISM who was the first Christian thinker to attempt to reconcile FAITH and REASON. He taught that the truths of pagan PHILOSOPHY find their fullest expression in CHRISTIANITY. His Apologies and Dialogues with Typho are amongst the earliest Christian APOLOGETICS.
