Epigram. XCVIII. Ad amicum inuidum.

If that I liue and flourish as I would,
You loath me then, repining at my good.
If to lift vp my head I be not able,
You like me then for being miserable.
Are these the tearmes you stand on with your mate?
Loue you me? then pray shew it by your hate.
