[Tagus, fare well, that westward with thy stremes]
Tagus, fare well, that westward with thy stremesTorns vp the grayns off gold alredy tryd:
With spurr and sayle for I go seke the Tems
Gaynward the sonne, that shewth her welthi pryd
And to the town which Brutus sowght by drems
Like bendyd mone doth lend her lusty syd.
My kyng, my Contry, alone for whome I lyve,
Of myghty love the winges for this me gyve.
