Great Arthur worthy Fame, but thatThy Acts are told by those who chat
Of Hamptons cut-throat, and the Knight
Of the Red Rose, (that sanguine wight)
The errors of some Monkish pen
Doth wound thy honour, farr more then
The Saxons could thy body; he,
That kild such truthes with Forgerie,
Deserv's to have his hand lop't off,
Thy legend is but wise mens scoffe,
