LIFE—LIFE
Life
, life, if murmuring there be
Of low estate, or scanty pelf,
The plaint upgoeth not from me.
Thy toys lie broken on the shelf—
Love swept them with an idle breath:
Life, life! Love overmastereth thee:
Grant gentle passage unto death.
