APART.

You this day may quite forget
That which all days I remember:
—O the damp leaves of November
Falling round me!—You may yet
Live your life with joy; but I
Slowly die.
You may willingly forget
That which weeping I remember,
In the stillness of November
Walking lonely. You may yet
Laugh and love again; but I
Slowly die.
