Ex otio Negotium | ||
Ad Cæsarem, Epig. 5.
If by chance (Cæsar) thou take up my Books,Lord of the world put by thy morning looks:
Thy greatest tryumphs have admitted mirth,
Nor need'st thou blush to give my fancy birth,
With what aspect thou smilest on Thymele,
Or mimicall Latinus, read thou mee.
