Liquor License

"In-Bounds" will open
sometime next week after the
owners receive their ABC
Board license. However, the
"grand opening" is not
scheduled until this fall, when
all the renovations will be
complete, Mr. Parkhill said.

In addition to Barry
Parkhill, now a Virginia Squires
player, and Mr. Gibson,
restaurant owners are Frank
McCue, basketball team
physician, and Milton Butts,
owner of the Kings Table
restaurant on Emmet St.

Renovations include
dividing the restaurant into
three sections with a dining
room in the front. A back
room will have large round
tables, and will be decorated
with pictures of the University,
as well as past and present
University sports stars. Live
music for dancing may also be
featured.

Gibson And Parkhill:

Business Partners

The cuisine of the
restaurant will include various
types of pizza, hamburgers and
sandwiches, along with
"reasonably priced steaks,"
according to Mr. Parkhill,
father of Barry Parkhill.

Mr. Parkhill has recently
moved to Charlottesville from
State College, Pa., where
Pennsylvania State University
is located. From his
experiences there, Mr. Parkhill
says he believes there is a "real
need in college communities
for places where a couple can
get pizza in a comfortable
setting."

He added that the
restaurant will cater to the
student population. Most of
the rons he has gotten to
the rant's opening, he
said, have been that it is in an
"ideal location,' and that it
"ought to be a success."

He did not mention the
price of the transaction, except
that it "was reasonable." Mr.
Gibson and Barry Parkhill
declined comment on the
matter.

Plans for the grand opening
include having Barry Parkhill
on hand to greet people as they
come into the restaurant. A
special reduction in food prices
at the restaurant is also
planned for the opening
festivities.
