Greenfield To Appear
Before Grand Jury

Ronald W. Greenfield,
arrested for the November 8
murder of fourth-year
education student Mary
Frances Jordan, will appear
before the Grand Jury Monday
for proceedings in the
Charlottesville Corporation
Court.

College third-year man
Chesley Davis charged with
possession and distribution of
marijuana and Engineering
second-year man Shelton
Taylor, charged with
distribution of marijuana and
LSD, will go before the Grand
Jury Monday in Corporation
Court. Mr. Davis and Mr.
Taylor were two of the four
University students arrested in
the March 26-27 drug raids
involving 22 persons.

Seven other University
students face preliminary
hearings for drug charges at the
end of this month.

College second-year men
Edward Chastka and Paul
Dawkins, charged with felonius
possession and distribution of
marijuana, will appear before
the Municipal Court in a
preliminary hearing May 31, as
a result of the April 30 drug
bust at Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT)
fraternity house.

College second- and
third-year men Paul Lumbye
and Peter Dierks, charged with
possession and distribution of
marijuana, and College
third-year man William Wright,
arrested for felonious
possession of marijuana, will
also appear at a preliminary
hearing in the Municipal Court
May 31 in connection with the
ZBT case.

Second-year man John
Parker, arrested for felonious
distribution of cocaine and
fourth-year man Nicholas
Mallis, charged with possession
and distribution of marijuana,
face a preliminary hearings
June 5. Both students were
arrested at their Charlottesville
residences April 30.
