"The Good Old Song"

Although it is not the official Alma Mater, "The Good Old
Song" has become the traditional Alma Mater over the years. No
alumni reunion passes without an emotion-filled rendition of it.
"The Good Old Song" is traditionally sung after every Wahoo
touchdown. As a public service The College Topics has taken the
liberty of printing the words for the benefit of the first year
students and for the second year students who didn't have a
chance to sing them too often last year.

That good old song of Wah hoo-wah
We'll sing it o'er
It cheers our hearts and warms our blood
To hear them shout and roar.
We come from old Virginia
Where all is bright and gay;
Let's all join hands and give a yell
For dear old U. Va.
Wah hoo-wah
Wah hoo-wah
Univ. V, Virginia
Hoo-rah ray!
Hoo-rah ray!
Ray! Ray!
