Fourth-year man Mark D.
Cummings, originator of the
student coordinator position,
expressed his pleasure with
student response which
"indicates a new direction in
student involvement at the
University."

"In my first year as
coordinator, barely enough
applications were received to
fill the positions," he said.

An ad hoc Council
committee will nominate
students for the committee
positions.

These nominations will be
presented to Council and the
final recommendations will
then be forwarded to President
Shannon for final approval and
announced by May 1.
