Swedish 1-2
To Be Offered
Next Year

The Swedish language will
be taught at the introductory
level for the first time in the
fall of 1972. Offered through
the German Department as a
complementary course to the
two classes in Scandinavian
Literature now taught in
translation, Swedish 1-2 will be
taught during the next
academic session as a fully
accredited foreign language.

Advanced courses will be
offered in successive years.
Margareta Mattsson, a graduate
of Uppsals University in
Sweden and Case Western
Reserve, will be the instructor.

Women's Forum

An open forum on the role of
women in society will be
sponsored by the Student
Council Women's Committee
Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the
Rotunda.
