C&C Photo Contest

The Corks and Curls Managing
Board and Photography Staff are
sponsoring a photography contest,
beginning May 1 and ending May
15.

Photographers around the
Grounds are invited to submit as
many photographs as they desire,
color or black and white, to the
Corks and Curls judges before May
15.

Stipulations are that all entrant
photographs be mounted, that their
subject matter concern some phase
of University life, and that a second
print of the photograph be submitted
for use by the Corks and
Curls.

Monetary prizes for the best
photographs entered will be presented.
There are $25 first prizes,
$15 second prizes, and $10 third
prizes offered in each of two
categories black and white and
color.

Judgments will be made on the
quality of the print and the
uniqueness of the subject matter. A
third very important consideration
of the judges will be whether or not
the photograph reflects the spirit of
the University community or the
Grounds.

Contestants may pick up entry
blanks and a list of rules for the
contest anytime from 2 to 5 p.m. in
the Corks and Curls office, 5th
floor of Newcomb Hall.
