ZBT Sponsors MS Drive
The ZBT fraternity is
collecting money for Multiple
Sclerosis today at the following
locations: Lawn entrance to
Cabell Hall, Amphitheater
entrance, Wilson Hall,
Chemistry Bldg., and Second
Floor Newcomb Hall. Hours
are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They
ask that students and faculty
give generously.
Deadline Announced
Faculty members wishing to
rent cap, gown and hood for
graduation on Sunday, June 4
must submit their orders by 5
p.m., Friday at the Director's
Office, fourth floor, Newcomb
Hall.
Wright To Lecture
Prof. Esmond Wright,
Director of the Institute for
the United States Studies at
the University of London, will
lecture on "The Significance of
the American Revolution: A
British View," tomorrow at 8
p.m. in the South Meeting
Room of Newcomb hall.
Mr. Wright received his
masters degree at the
University and is the author of
The Fabric of Freedom and
George Washington and the
American Revolution.
White To Speak
Roy R. White will speak on
the subject, "Civil Liberties —
Theory and Reality" tomorrow
at 8 p.m. in room 4B in
Newcomb Hall.
Mr. White was the 1970
Democratic nominee for the
U.S. House of Representatives
from the sixth district of
Virginia and is expected to run
again for the same seat this
year as an Independent
Democrat.
Miller To Recruit
Harold O. Miller,
Democratic nominee from the
tenth district, will speak at
7:30 p.m. tomorrow in the
Law School lounge. The topic
of his talk will be "The
Bankruptcy of President
Nixon's War Policy."
Mr. Miller is here to recruit
campaign workers to assist
with registration and absentee
ballots in the Northern Virginia
area this summer and fall.
