Poetry Society Meet
At Newcomb April 11

The Poetry Society of Virginia
will meet in the South Meeting
Room of Newcomb Hall on Saturday,
April 11 at 11 a.m.

The program will consist of the
reading of prize and honorable
mention winning poems in the
contests of 1969-70 held by the
Society. Donald A. Coutson of
Richmond, Contest Chairman, will
preside.

Arthur Stocker, Professor of
Classics at the University and a
former-president of the Society, has
charge of arrangements.

Luncheon, served in the Commonwealth
Room, will follow the
morning program. Reservations for
members and guests should be sent
immediately to Mr. Stocker, P.O.
Box 3331, University Station, Charlottesville.

A chartered bus is expected to
bring members and guests from
Richmond and vicinity. A number
of Lynchburg members will also
attend.
