Cashes Checks
In accordance with one of its
traditional functions, the Bad.
Check Committee, a subgroup of
the Honor Committee, has extended
the check cashing privilege
to areas usually visited by University
students.
This weekend, students will be
able to cash checks of amounts up
to $10 in the Tulane Bookstore
during its regular hours of 8:30
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Bad Check
Committee will guarantee each
students check cashed there.
The Committee has secured the
privilege for the following areas in
the establishments indicated: Harrisonburg:
Madison College
cashier. Wilson Hall: Roanoke:
Farmers National Bank, Bank of
Salem, First National Exchange
Bank of Roanoke. Powell's Drugstore:
Staunton: Mary Baldwin
College Student Bank. J.C. Penny
Co., Montgomery Ward Co., Leggett's
Men's Store, Barth Weinburg,
The Elbow Room. Hogshead Drug
Store. Staunton Plaza Gift and
Florist, Rask Florist.
