Nominee Deadline Set
For Professor Award
Any student or member of the
faculty who wishes to make a
nomination for the Alumni Association's
annual Distinguished Professor
Award should turn in the name
to the Student Government secretary,
fourth floor of Newcomb Hall,
by April 2, 1969.
In order to select a faculty
member "who has, over a period of
ten years, excelled as a classroom
teacher, shown unusual concern for
the students, and made significant
contributions to the life of the
University," the Award Committee
requests that a letter with supporting
evidence be submitted with
every nomination.
The Award, to be presented at
Finals exercises, includes a cash
prize of $500 and a life membership
in the Alumni Association.
Previous recipients are T. Braxton
Woody, Raymond C. Bice and
Charles J. Bishko.
