Summer Students
Encouraged To Enroll
Students presently enrolled in
the spring semester who have any
intention of attending the 1969
Summer Session are encouraged to
fill out a card indicating such intent
to register.
This card may be picked up at
the Summer Session office in
Garrett Hall or the Deans' offices,
and should be filed by May 1 for
pre-registration from May 12 to 23.
The intent to register card is not
a registration card and does not
commit the student in any way. Its
sole purpose is to aid the Data
Processing Center in preparing in
advance the cards needed for
registration, and to facilitate the
registration process.
Those who are in doubt as to
summer plans should still turn in
the cards if there exists any
reasonable possibility that they
may attend the Summer Session or
be a degree candidate in August.
Failure to submit the card will
entail delays in the registration
process for the students in
question.
The eight-week regular Summer
Session will last from June 23 to
August 16. The Education
Intersession will extend from June
16 to July 8, and will be followed
by the six-week session from July 7
to August 16. The Preliminary
Announcement of the Summer
Session is now available at Garrett
Hall. The complete summer
catalogue will be obtainable after
the middle of March.
Students enrolled through
extension centers or branch
colleges, as well as persons not
currently enrolled in the University,
must submit an application on the
green form stapled to the
Preliminary Announcement.
