To Demonstrate
Playing Of Sitar
of Indian music.
A tumboura, a long-necked
gourd string instrument, will also
accompany the sitar.
The main performance will be
Wednesday evening October 18,
at 8:15 in Cabell Hall Auditorium.
Tickets will be $1 for students.
Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
and Thursday at 2 p.m., Mr.
Banerjee will give lecture demonstrations
on the sitar and Indian
music. Both lecture demonstrations
will be free.
