force, but Mr. Noble says that
the program will begin again
possibly in several weeks, and
definitely in the fall. Ride with
Charlottesville police
patrolmen and see if Jack
Webb has been putting you on
all these years.
Madison Hall also offers a
service to students: Students
Legal Services. This program
continues through the summer.
The students' attorney, with
the assistance of about 20
volunteer law students,
provides legal assistance to all
matriculated students.
Engaging in counseling as well
as litigation, the students'
attorney, Ted Hogshire, works
primarily with landlord-tenant,
consumer and minor criminal
matters. The program and
Student Council have
published a booklet,"Student's
Guide to Landlord-Tenant
Law" to inform students of
their rights and responsibilities
as tenants.
