Homosexuals Face
Discrimination

been with the gay movement.
According to Mr. Kameny, this
can only be alleviated with
time.

"The attitudes of the federal
government are seen in the civil
service department, the armed
services, and the security
positions. We have seen job
discrimination in all. They feel
that homosexuals are
unpopular people, and they
don't hire unpopular people."

Mr. Kameny said that at the
University, "the legal issue is
not valid concerning the
Student Council's allocation of
funds."

"Even transvestitism is legal
here." He added that the GSU
was no more political than the
B.S.A. and not more socially
oriented than any of the
groups who received funds.

"Insist that all criterion
placed on the GSU be placed
on all the other organizations.
If we cannot get money, then
nobody will. We will win
because we are right and they
are wrong"

"We have grown about 100
times as large as we were in
1950. We will continue to grow
if we remember that
homosexuals are not inferior,
and that homosexuality is the
same as heterosexuality, just a
sexual preference.
