Cavs Win

McMillen to a single point and
two rebounds.

The Cavaliers broke it open
early in the second half, as two
fast-break scores on full-court
passes killed Maryland's
attempt at a full-court press.
The Wahoos outscored the
Terps 14-5 in the first six
minutes, and from there, the
outcome was never really in
doubt.

The Cavaliers are now the
only undefeated team in the
ACC, and are atop the league
standings with a 2-0 record.
The Terps join Duke, last
Saturday's Cavalier victim, in
the conference cellar with an
0-1 record. The Wahoos should
now have a good shot at a top
twenty ranking.

It was the first loss in two
years for the Maryland
"super-sophs", who looked
anything but super. Last year,
as freshmen, they were
undefeated.

Jim O'Brien, the victim of
the majority of the U-Hall
derision, was one of the only
two Terrapin in double figures,
with 13 points. Len Elmore
and Mark Cartwright were the
only two Maryland
sophomores to look at all
impressive.
