Union Executive Board
Chooses Program Men
Members of the University Union
Program Board were elected
by the Union Executive Board this
past weekend at the executive
board meeting.
The executive board selects the
members of their Program Board
from the second-year committeemen
that submit applications for
assignment to the various committees.
Chairmen of ten committees
were selected. Richard Covington
will head the Community Involvement
Committee while Douglas
Hamlin is in charge of the Travel
Committee. Zeb Inge is in charge of
the Special Activities Committee
dealing with the contracting and
organization of concerts, and Duncan
McRae will be organizing the
Artist Series for the coming year.
Michael Murphy is chairman of
the Fine Arts Committee and
William Parrish is head of the film
series. The Union Fund drives that
provide money to various local
charities are to be directed by Peter
Ricardelli. The speaker series
which is sponsored by the Expositions
Committee will be led by
Thomas Sansonetti.
The last two committees, Social
and Blood Drive, will be headed by
Clay Spenser and David Sutton
respectively.
