University Man
Fatally Injured
In Car Accident

A third-year student in the
University Law School was killed
on October 2 when the sports car
in which he was riding ran off
Interstate 81, near Chambersburg,
Pa., and overturned.

William Ingles, 22, of Gloucester,
Va., was pronounced dead
at the scene of the accident. He
was a passenger in the car
driven by Gary H. Scott, 25, who
was reported in critical condition
at a Chambersburg hospital.

Mr. Ingles was a transfer student
from Stanford School of
Law. He had graduated from
Washington and Lee with a B.A.
in economics. He was a Dean's
List student and, at the University,
was a member of the Rugby
Club.
