today at 2 p.m. at the Perry
Foundation courts.

A lecture on "Legal Aspects
of Engineering in Medicine"
will be given today by Dr. C.
Frankel of the Orthopedic
Department at 4 p.m. today in
158 Cabell Hall.

"The Red Beard" will be
shown in Wilson Hall
Auditorium today at 4:30 p.m.
as part of the Filmwatchers
Club. Series tickets will be on
sale at the door.

Student Council will meet
at 7 p.m. today in the Honor
Committee room, fourth floor,
Newcomb Hall. The meeting is
open to the public.

WEDNESDAY

The film "Throne of
Blood", will be shown at 4:30,
7 and 9 p.m. tomorrow at
Wilson Hall Auditorium.
Filmwatchers series tickets will
be on sale at the door.

The University Jazz
Ensemble will present a
concert at 8 p.m. tomorrow in
Cabell Hall Auditorium.
Admission is $1.

Mr. Kenneth Burke will
lecture on "A 1st Among the
Ims: the joys and sorrows of
nomenclature" tomorrow at 8
p.m. in 301 Wilson Hall.

THURSDAY

Sir Kenneth Clark, Baron of
Saltwood, will deliver the
Founder's Day Address at 11
a.m. Thursday in University
Hall.

The tennis team plays VPI
Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Perry
Foundation courts.

"Tales of Terror" and "The
Raven" will be shown in
Wilson Hall Auditorium at 7
and 9 p.m. on Thursday.
Admission is 75 cents.

FRIDAY

The University has a track
meet with Duke University and
the University of Richmond
Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Lannigan
track field.

Dr. R. Ferrel of the
University of Maryland will
speak on "Dynamical Scaling
and Critical Transport
Properties of Fluids" on Friday
at 4 p.m. in room 204 of the
Physics Building.

"The Pit and The
Pendulum" and "The House of
Usher" will be presented by
University Union in Wilson
Hall Auditorium at 7 and 9
p.m. Friday. Admission is 75
cents.

Alice Cooper will be
presented in concert Friday
at 8 p.m. in University Hall.
The concert, sponsored by PK
German, will cost $3.50 in
advance and $4 at the door.

SATURDAY

The Central Virginia
Symphony and Chorus
conducted by Teri Towe will
present a concert of orchestral
and choral music at 8:15 p.m.
Saturday in Cabell Hall
Auditorium. Admission is $1
for students.

The Engineering School will
hold open house Saturday, 9
a.m. - 5:30 p.m. in Thornton
Hall.

The baseball team will play
a doubleheader at 1:30
Saturday against Duke
University at the new baseball
field.
