MEET RALPH FREY, JR., 20.
He is a university senior.
He has a pilot's license.
He can read 3,000 words a minute
Watching Ralph's hand fly over the pages (his
hand acts as a pacer), you can't believe that he's
actually reading. He must be skimming. But he's
not.
Ralph Frey can read the average novel in a little
under 45 minutes. In addition to his required
reading, he averages ten books a week. Even on
the toughest material he rarely dips blow 1,000
words per minute. Moreover, he can comprehend
and recall what he's read-right down to the particulars.
Ralph Frey is not a mental freak. Nor is he a
natural fast reader. He learned this revolutionary
technique of rapid reading at the Evelyn Wood
Reading Dynamics Institute. . .Ralph was one of
our better students. He started the course at
about 350 words a minute and increased his rate
6 times. Our average student begins at about 300
words a minute and graduates at speeds over
1,500 words a minute.
You can do this too.
"Reading dynamically," says Ralph "has made
reading a pleasure instead of a chore. The reading
material that used to be put aside for later
reference is now read and absorbed. An ideal implement
for attaining intellectual goals." You
may not learn to read quite as fast as Ralph Frey
(and then again you might!), but the nationally
known Reading Dynamics Institute guarantees
that you'll at least triple your reading speed with
good comprehension—or receive a full tuition refund.
Just to show you that Ralph Frey is not
unique, here are typical samples of progress in
words per minute by Reading Dynamics graduates.

TECHNIQUES
SENATOR PROXMIRE,
WISCONSIN, "I must say that
this is one of the most useful
education experiences I have
ever had. It certainly compares
favorably with the experience
I've had at Yale and Harvard."
SENATOR TALMADGE,
GEORGIA. "It is my opinion
that if these techniques were
instituted in the public and
private schools of our country,
it would be the greatest single
step which we could take in
educational progress.
REFUND POLICY
We guarantee to increase
the reading efficiency of
each student AT LEAST 3
times with good comprehension.
We will refund
the entire tuition to any student
who, after completing
minimum class and study
requirements, does not at
least triple his reading efficiency
as measured by our
beginning and ending tests.
