Engineers To Begin
Evaluation Program

A course evaluation program
will be conducted this week and
next by the Student Council in
conjunction with the School of
Engineering for engineers wanting
to air their comments about
the courses they took last semester.

The Academic Affairs and
Course Evaluation Committee of
the Student Council is sponsoring
this evaluation in all the
schools of the University. The
engineering portion of this program
will begin separately today
with evaluation forms available
in front of Thornton Hall and
in the A&M building.

The completed forms should
be placed in deposit boxes located
in these two buildings by March
8. The forms will be compiled
according to department and sent
to the appropriate department for
their study.

These forms will then be available
in each department's office
for the perusal of students interested
in seeing how their
classmates feel about any particular
course.

It is hoped that this evaluation
"will furnish the instructors and
department chairmen with constructive
criticism which will
enable them to evaluate, and
possibly improve their curriculum,"
said Tom Corcoran, the
Student Council representative in
charge of this program.
