Trying to improve on their
generally horrendous records is
the task this week of the CD's
fearless ten pigskin pickers.
Led by co-editor Ernest
Dempsey and track writer Mike
DeCamps, the motley
assemblage comes down to low
man Davis Marshall, who seems
to stick his neck out a little less
each week.

Action over in Blacksburg
Saturday finds the tide going
with the Hokies. DeCamps and
senior sports writer Da Nach
go with Villanova.

Purdue - Michigan State,
Duke - Wake Forest, and Air
Force - Oregon are all split
among the 'experts'. The most
controversial matchup seems to
be down at Durham where the
Blue Devils entertain a rugged
band of Wake Forest Deacons.

The Air Force - Oregon
contest was included to
appease all of our millions of
screaming readers from west of
the Continental Divide. If the
Falcons can establish their
aerial attack the Air Force will
return to Colorado victorious.
