Golfers Win Big 5 Match;
Play Midshipmen Today

seven man Rick Miller taking
medalist honors with a 75. Virginia's
golf team swept a three-way
Big 5 match yesterday, downing
Richmond-16½-1½ and William and
Mary 15½-5½ at the par 72
Newport News Municipal Course.
The victory pushed Virginia over
the .500 mark with a 6-5 record.
The Cavaliers visit Navy today
and entertain Virginia Commonwealth
Thursday at the Keswick
Club of Virginia.
Virginia had little trouble yesterday
winning both matches. Bubba
Victor played the number one spot
for UVa, beating Richmond's Jim
3-0 but losing to Steve Isaacs
of William and Mary. 2-1.
