I.M. basketball action resumed
Tuesday night in Memorial Gym.
Play was dominated by the more
powerful teams, but fate caught up
to ATO, an upset victim. Sigma Nu,
led by George Yeonas and Steve
Kuhn, trounced ATO by the score
of 56-38. Rusk Kirk led the losers
with 10 points.
In other round-ball action, St.
A. dropped Theta Chi, and Phi Kap
defeated St. Elmo by the scores of
45-33, respectively. Henry Dudley
with a hot hand, let St. A. with 20
points while John Antrim and
Howard Taylor led a well balanced
Phi Kap attack with 9 points
apiece.
James Schroeder led Sigma Chi
over Pl Kap by the score of 47-36.
Sandy Schwartz clipped in 13
points for the losers while
Schroeder lead Sigma Chi's scoring
with 16 points.
A powerful SPE team trounced
the Kappa Sig behind the scoring
of George Wall and Terrance
Teague, 61-31. Wall and Teague
combined for 31 points, 19 and 12
respectively. Kevin Kingston was
high scorer for the losers with 13
points.
The Dekes, led by Joe Ferens
and Tom Adams, used a well
balanced attack to drop Sigma Pl,
46-38.
SAE, led by Sam Harvey
smothered Chi Psi by the score of
68-30. Harvey's 22 points capped a
well-balanced attack for the
winner's, while Martin Dever
collected half the points for Chi Psi.
In a low scoring game ZBT
dropped a close decision to PEP,
30-25. David Shaw led the ZBT
with 11 points and Bob Fagin had
10 points for PEP.
AEPi used a well balanced
scoring attack to soundly defeat
Chi Pi by the score of 51-20.
Phi Gam defeated DU by the
score of 46-29, and Beta dropped
Sigma Phi, despite a well balanced
attack from the opposition, 48-39.
