Notes
Seventeen medical students,
eager to fend off the threat of
coronary heart disease in their 40s
competed last Saturday in the first
annual Medical School Cross
Country Race. The hilly, 1.8 mile
course was conquered easily by
fourth-year man Dave Slawek with
a speedy time of 8:56. All who
started completed the race, no
doubt stimulated by the two cases
of beer waiting at the finish line.
One resolution upon conclusion of
the event: try harder or stick to
recreational jogging.
