Duke Stuns
Georgia Tech
Duke's upset of powerful
Georgia Tech highlighted
Saturday's slate of ACC games.
Mark Johnson scored twice,
helping the Blue Devils jump
off to a 20-0 lead, and a
hard-nosed defense held off a
late Tech rally to preserve the
20-14 win.
North Carolina flogged
Clemson, 26-10, for its 13th
consecutive ACC victory over a
three-year period. Maryland
gave Penn State trouble in the
first half, but the Nittany
Lions exploded in the second
half to emerge 46-16 victors.
Wake Forest fell to South
Carolina, 35-3, in a Saturday
night contest.
