JV's,Sefcik Whip All-Stars

Continuing its three game
winning streak against
Intramural All stars, the JV
basketball team won a 110-71
travesty in the preliminary to
Monday's game against
Clemson.

With the All stars shooting
a meager 20% for the first half,
the JV was able to breeze to a
comfortable 58-26 halftime
lead and coast through the
second half.

Bob Sefcik continued his
hot scoring pace by tossing in
31 points to lead the victors. In
addition, he contributed eight
assists.

At the other guard spot,
Bruce Frey also passed off for
eight assists. The 5'10"
first-year man pulled down a
remarkable 11 rebounds.

Two players, Art Stilphen
and Pat Culhane had their best
games of the year.

Stilphen scored 10 points
and gathered in 15 rebounds,
both career highs.

Culhane came back from a
disappointing performance
against Virginia Tech with 24
points against the All stars.

Bob Wheaton was the only
player to score in double
figures for the All stars, as 11
different people scored.
