Cindermen Finish Dual Season
With Unblemished 7-0 Record

LEXINGTON — The University
of Virginia swept a three-way track
meet from Washington and Lee and
Old Dominion here Monday to
complete its first undefeated dual
meet season in many years.

The Cavaliers defeated W& L
101-44 and swamped Old Dominion
140-29 to enter this weekend's
ACC meet at Raleigh with a 7-0
record.

Mike Wilkes led Virginia's effort,
winning first place in the javelin
and in the discus with some of his
best efforts of the year. Old
Dominion had one outstanding
point-getter in Jerry Brocuric, but
the rest of the Monarch team was
badly outclassed.
